HSE and Sports Medicals

Our Hyperbaric Treatment Centre in London can offer the complete range of diving medicals and assessments for both sport and commercial divers.

HSE diving medicals are carried out by London Hyperbaric and Wound Healing Centres Ltd. doctors, who are Approved Medical Examiners of Divers (AMEDs), either at our Hyperbaric Facility or at our local medical centre.

	Dr. Lukas Fischer Consultant in Anaesthetics Hyperbaric Physician HSE approved Medical Examiner of Divers UK Sports Diving Medical Committee Referee

	Dr Oliver Sykes HSE approved Medical Examiner of Divers UK Sports Diving Medical Council Referee

	Dr Matthias Lechner Hyperbaric Physician HSE approved Medical Examiner of Divers UK Sports Diving Medical Committee Referee

DIVE MEDICALS

HSE Dive medicals for Commercial Divers
Topside Medicals for workers (non-divers) in the Offshore industry.(Please do not use the Online booking system for Topside medicals and call the office directly)
HSE dive medicals for working Instructors (eg. PADI)
Follow-up assessments after treatment for decompression Illness
UKSDMC medicals (if yes box has been ticked in pre-dive self certification form, for BSAC, SSAC, SAC and PADI)
All other Diving Medicals for diving abroad in Spain, Australia, Malta etc.

Initial HSE Medical Form

If it is your first HSE medical, please download the form, fill it out and take it to your GP prior to attending your medical with us. No examination is required by your GP, only a signature.

HSE medical exam form

To book a medical, please use our online booking form, which can be used between 48 hours and 6 weeks in advance. For urgent appointments (within 48 hours) please call 020 8539 1222 to see if we have a vacancy.

We apologise that we cannot accept credit or debit cards. Payment must be made in person when attending for a medical, by cash or cheque.

Please note all divers that need a PADI or BSAC medical need to get in contact with one of the medical referees at the chamber before booking the medical to avoid an unnecessary journey. Call 020 8539 1222.
